SS Signs Return & Exchange Policy

At SS Signs, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. We’re committed to delivering signage that matches the specifications on our website and your expectations - whether you’ve chosen a custom-made sign or one of our pre-made products.

If something isn’t right, please contact us straight away with photos and a description of the issue. Our team will work with you promptly to find the best solution.


Custom-Made Signage

Because custom signage is made to your specific order and artwork approval, refunds are not available. However, we will repair or replace any product that:

  • Does not match the specifications on our website,

  • Differs from the artwork proof you approved (please note colour variation limits below), or

  • Is found to be defective within the warranty period.

Artwork & Colours

Please check your artwork carefully before uploading, as production begins immediately after you've submitted your order. Colours shown on screen may vary from the printed product due to differences in printers, materials, and monitors.

If exact colour accuracy is required, we recommend providing a Pantone (PMS) colour reference so we can achieve the closest possible match.


Pre-Made Products

If you’ve purchased a pre-made item (non-customised), you are entitled to a return or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law if the product is:

  • Faulty,

  • Significantly different from what was described, or

  • Unfit for purpose.

Change-of-mind returns for pre-made products may be accepted at our discretion, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and returned at the customer’s expense. Please contact us within 14 days of receipt to request a return.


Warranty Claims

If you need to make a warranty claim, here’s what will happen once you provide photos of the issue:

If notified within 14 days of receiving your order:

  • We will either repair the product and return it at no cost, or

  • Replace it free of charge.

  • If a return is required, SS Signs will arrange and cover the return shipping.

If notified after 14 days of receiving your order:

  • You may be asked to return the goods at your own cost.

  • Once received, we will repair or replace the item and return it to you free of charge.


Important Notes

  • Our responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing the product.

  • We are not liable for costs related to installation, project delays, or other indirect expenses.

  • We recommend carefully inspecting all signage on delivery before organising installation.

  • Pre-made products: Refunds or returns available for faulty items, with change-of-mind returns considered on a case-by-case basis.
